For this project I decided to go a pop art route. I'm not sure why, I just decided that would be cool. I also decided to take inspiration from the three wise monkeys legend. The first image is unedited other than the adjustment mask, and the rest have edits pertaining to the monkey's virtues. See no evil, speak no evil, and hear no evil respectively.

I found these three Photoshop tutorials really interesting. The first one is more useful and the other two are just really cool. Have fun watching!

This project was about editing masks and manipulating layers. I find the idea of combining landscapes and creatures very interesting. I'll blame that on Zaboomafoo and Spore. Either way, this project was pretty fun for me! I have no idea why I decided to combine three of the most dangerous predators on the planet, and then make it able to survive pretty much anywhere. This is probably why genetic testing is frowned upon.

This project was about the Brush tool and creating your own custom brushes. I particularly liked the Hue and Saturation editors, which made things interesting color-wise. You can see that in the image below. Double Helix

This project was about the Mesh tool and the Gradient tool. In order to get the stem and shadow, I had to create more shapes and use the Mesh tool on them. That way I could make a more accurate result.
